Norris Yard, Norris Hill
 
Located westerly of the road over Norris Hill at the top of the hill. Starting on the south side of the Harris barn, go in a straight path to the edge of the field and look for signs of the cemetery on your lef in the bushes. Record from DAR records of Dec. 3, 1931.
 
Lieut. James Norris, Rev. Sol. and wife.

Lieut. James Norris was b. in Epping, N. H., in 1761;
m. Ruth Dearborn,
dau. of Simon Dearborn,
sen., and niece of Gen. Henry Dearborn.
He settled on Norris Hill, where he d. in 1841, of "cold fever".

5. Maria, (daughter of Lieut. James and Ruth DearbornNorris) b. Feb. 21, 1797; m. John Parsons, jun. (vide Parsons).

George Clark, Rev. Sol., he came to visit the Parsons and died while there.
